Flaw

Flaw

I'm not perfect

Let me be the first to say

That flaw is my pet poodle

and I walk him everyday

Sometimes I walk away but

At the end of the day

He follows me all the way home

Destroying small things along the way

But not once have I ever cast him

Off for I am him and he is me

And flaw (I think) is all humanity will

Ever be no matter

How many times we train him

Wow!!   ......this borders on "straight-up" philosophical poetry........like the San Andreas fault in humanity..........yes.......I agree........humans are innately flawed........and it is from these depths of knowing........that perfection is found.........for without tangible experience of the worst...........can the "best" be found.........and so your poem deserves extra praise for it's depth of subject matter........well done brother!!...........smiles.............T  xx
