For all those who live in shadows blindly, I pray
that light may shine on them and set them free ..
For no man wants to live in darkness surely,
light a candle for them, help them to see ..
Would you burn one for me too, I once preferred both cream and blue
Come on sweetheart, burn one just for me ..
And since my colours are run dry and gone now,
I can not read your poems lately, neither can I sing to thee ..
So would you burn a candle for me, burn it bright and all night long
Then place it on your window sill where I might feel the heat of thee ..
And should the wind or draught dance lightly upon and with my candle flame,
I shall know that you do love me, rightly wrongly but not in vain ..

I`d love to know your intention behind this one Neville. Seems like such a desperate write. I enjoyed it a lot, but I get a feeling of torn emotions in this one. Please, I wanna know more!!! XD
Good mane my friend .. this was writ at a time when I was about to undergo major eye surgery & where the risks according to my consultant were then said to be considerable .. Five hours under local anaesthetic aint to be sniffed at ........
Must say tho' Mr. Shah is a bloomin great guy .............................. Always feel able to ask Max and ta for visiting mate :)

Neville what a moving read, not only because it begins with you wishing light onto others who face darkness. But then to honestly open up for light to be wished upon yourself at a desperate time. This aches within each line. Beautifully penned. And might I add how pleased I am you can see, and write your wonderful poetry still my friend x
