Flickering
Flickering
alone in the night
of your dreams
- I am chased by your light.
I wear the darkness as I
waft in the wind
of memories.
Mum? Dad?
Brother? Sister?
I had it all.
Forgot which is the box
where I hid it.
And flickering
is all I can do.
Forgetful and frail.
Milk-white.
I rest on your eyes while you sleep.
I kiss your lips as you wake up.
Forgetful and frail.
Milk-white.
I am the one
you'll never know.
