FLOWER BIRDS

and so we dream, and dare
and dare to dream again
and wish them out like flowered
birds
hoping the colours are bold,
and the melody... heard,
and then
we guide them home
and call them in
comfort them,
stitch broken wings
and still we dare, and dare again
to dream
