The candle still burning
Into the night air
Moths' dancing
In shadows bare
A flute play's
tune's
To slumbers
sleep
the angel's
In heaven
No secrets
Do keep
Soothing
Eyes that weep
In loving care
Do seek to share
Beneath the candle
Moths dancing bare
The sound of the flute
Knowledge they are there
Forever burning candle
Within the darkest night
Angels surrounding
Heavens divining light
Flicking the flame
the flame so bright
slumbers sleep
goodnight.
