FLYING THOMAS

Picture the scene 1956 in New York City
A drunken chap thought he was being witty
Thomas was the name of this drunken man
Lost a bet and so now the fun began

He stole a plane which he attempted to fly
Being drunk you have to ask yourself why
Landed the plane near the bar where he drank
Thomas survived and to God he did thank

This is not the end of this remarkable tale
Thomas had another bet with a different male
This chap didn't believe the story Thomas said
So Thomas then flew another plane instead
