FOLLOW THE RULES

My life that started with full of hope 
Now relies on water and a bar of soap
At least twenty seconds under the tap 
Not rocket science so no need to flap 

Must stay indoors is what the experts say
Follow these rules and you will be okay
Two metres apart if you need to go outside 
These are the rules that must be applied 

I have to remember Thursdays at eight 
Clap for the medical staff who are simply great
All these things are rules I must now follow
Should I disregard I will feel empty and hollow
