Poem -

For a dream

Under the borough,

Poor and wretched.

Wondering what's there to face,

Lovely it seemed.

Far did I chase.

Longing for the Dream.

Many desired,

United but fell.

Yet more I aspired,

Thinking I was well.

Till the last hour,

Seeking much power.

Hoping for a dream.

Now tranquil peace,

With days so sweet.

Thus feeding the beast,

Unknown to greed

To believe I was freed.

Forgetting my Dream.

Lost to time,

Forgot what's mine.

Still,

Against my will.

In lies and betrayal,

The dream that is once a tale.
