you cannot just lend love and take it back when you need it

it does not toss you out or throw you in a pit

Love is what you give someone when they deserve the very best

you have to pick and choose who gets it and forget the rest

Life has so much to offer you can even be loved by a cat 

if your heart is not open then just stay back
