Poem -

For love.

Could I ever look towards the moon, knowing you hold my scars

In your eyes I saw rivers blue And a million tiny stars

Yet the night was dim in your passing by, The absence of you in a great dark sky

The eminence of a love barring strength yet weak enough to break And I fold my hands in pray For all the angles sake

Knowing whispers haunt my heart like ghosts And the mist of winter wears a crown

And I'm left wondering why your not around , Not here for every falling tear nor the triumph In my days

I miss you most in many ways, yet confirmed to be of truthful thought

I was never a butterfly Captured or even caught

Yet wings you gave for me to fly, but left me on a cloud Up high

And I can see the bigger picture, the grandest skies and all of love

And when I fall, I know I fall But fly on wing's, of a dove.
