For my Dad (Pedro)

I've written a few poems about things close to my heart,
But to write about the man I love the most I don't know where to start.
When it comes to having a bond, ours is one of a kind, 
We have always been peas in a pod he knows what's on my mind. 

This man that i speak of, he's my dad, my one true love, 
The bond between father and daughter nothing comes above. 
My dad is so much more than that he's also my best friend, 
The one I always turn to, on him I can depend. 

He never gave up on me, he was there right by my side, 
When times were really bad, he still looked at me with pride. 
He has been my rock, and given me the strength to fight,
Every time I've stumbled, he held my hand so tight. 

My dad, my Pedro, to me a real life hero, 
Noone comes close, he's number 1 you know?! 
So many memories that together we share, 
The relationship we have I know is very rare. 

This I wrote to tell him how much love he has from me
Daddy's ickle girl forever... That I will always be. 
No matter how much things have slowly  changed with time
There's always a main man in my life and Pedro u are mine xxx
