For my love

There's been plenty of hard times when our relationship has turned tough, plenty of times where it's turned from tough to rough but the way we've stuck together and come out of the other side, makes me feel content and leaves me beaming with pride and until the day I die it's with you that I want to ride, until I can fly high it's with you that I want to glide, through every slip and slide it's you i want by my side, then the realisation hits me that our love has nowhere to hide. 

Gliding through life, time goes so quickly, your a diamond In the dirt, a beautiful rose thats all prickly, the way that I've described you is not based on perfection, if I based it on perfection it would be the truth that Im bending, this is a poem from my heart, not a fairytale with a perfect ending.

Perfection in relationships will never be found, even after you get married and both oaths have been bound, for me It's about finding a balance between love and hate, everyday we have a bicker and we find stuff to debate, but I don't see it as a bad thing, that's a part of our journey and with every silly argument our love becomes more sturdy.

What goes around comes around I believe that's true, there's not a second, minute or day that I want to be without you and when I think about your smile and all the things that you do, it makes realise how lucky I am to be with someone like you.

So with a baby on the way and a family In the making, taking you for granted is a risk I'm never taking, the love and trust we have is a promise I'm never breaking, il work hard at it always until I'm painfully aching. 

You had me infatuated from the start, slightly more than interested, ups and downs will always occur that's our relationship being tested, it's the way we work together as a team that will justify the time we've invested.

I love you more everyday and I always will forever, there's something in my heart telling me that we will always remain together.
