Poem -

" FOR MY MOTHER "

" FOR MY MOTHER "

You are my Mother
And I owe you so very much
Through you I learned to Love
And by you taught to touch

You've done so very much for me
Things which I did not rate
But I see clearly now
Your efforts have not been in vain

Times I was so thoughtless
The times I didn't help
I wish that I could bear for you now
All the hurts you must have felt

How well you molded me
See, all that I can do
I pray your heart be proud
For I was conceived by you

I'll strive to make you proud
And some day you shall tell
You need not say the words
Your eyes shall toll the bell

From now and this day forth
No matter what you do
Recall these words I write this day
For they sing through candlelight
" I will always Love you!"

Hello Tony...

This is very beautiful and such a humble write!

Heartfelt all the way through...

You certainly have had your unfair share of loss...

We make mistakes and sometimes it takes the growing up process to appreciate and understand...

A Mother's undying love...

Written so long ago...

Still in the heart...

Thank you for sharing...

Hugz!

Well done for a beautiful tribute to a lovely lady and I know how close you both are and how much you both love each other. She`s a lovely lady and you are very lucky to still have her with you. I know she is very proud of you, just as I am sweetie. I hope she liked my book that I sent her and please send her my love and best wishes and I hope she is fit and well too.
