For: The Love of my Life...be safe and keep on trucking

(This poem I originally made it as a response to "Life as a Trucker" as a letter in her husbands pocket to read when he left, then I decided to make them both separate.)

When i'm upset and full of worry you create a sense of ease,
i'll put those darker days behind me knowing good always comes in threes.
There's a strength you bring out in me that helps me when i'm stressed,
you always find a way to bring out my very best.
Great humour and such excitement that keeps me on my toes,
always knowing how to help me when i'm in my highs or at my lows.
Your trust in me gives me that hope,
an everlasting strength to grieve when I need to cope.
Many people I've known have come and gone but your always there,
even the days when it gets rough and life's so hard to bare.
Just think, your the one that makes those days worth fighting for,
when i'm sad you'll make me laugh, life with you is never a bore.
So no matter the distance, i'll be with you no matter what,
we have overcome many challenges, think of this as a small rut.
My life can never be complete unless I have you in my life,
Looking forward to our future, by your side as your wife.
The bad times we endured made our love that much stronger,
So with all this on my mind I know we'll make it that much longer.
Just know I am like this for many good reasons,
knowing I could lose you, lose myself or not see you for many seasons.
Although the love we share comes with compromise and understanding,
you view me as i'm being selfish and also very demanding.
Just know when your out there I think the worst then comes my anxiety,
my pills, they only help for so long but I guess i'm not much help on disability.
All I wish is to be normal, as in none of my issues,
it would save us on all our fights, medications and tissues.
That's the repercussions you get from loving someone like me,
how do you think I feel, I have a full on degree.
So I write you this letter, thinking you might feel better I hope,
all I want from you is Love, A Family, Our Future and to elope.
So I say it again "I'm Happy With You",
we've gone through worst times, we'll get through this one too.
I want you to remember, this is only the beginning of the rest of our lives,
so keep on trucking, be safe, please don't die, because we need you alive!
