Forest
By Magic Bellmore, Queen of Chaos

The soft thump of my heart echoes around the forest,
The bright emerald trees swaying in time to the cool evening song,
Vibrant jewelled fairies flit from leaf to leaf,
Birds chirping in time to the gentle evening song,
A stream trickles past my foot,
Leading to a large rushing waterfall,
Cascading down onto the rocks below,
The roar of a tiger sets my heart racing,
Little elves dance beside me,
Fluttering butterflies,
Soaring around my head,
The grumpy little goblins drag their feet behind me,
Where I am going,
It is a mystery,
But I will follow the forest creatures,
Little diamond rain starts to drizzle down,
Pitter, patter on every leaf,
Trickling down the trunks of wise and ancient trees,
Nymphs race along in the riverbed beside me,
Their laughter ringing out in clear vibrant peals,
The forest holds many mysteries,
Ancient trees, older than time,
Rushing rivers, faster than the wind,
Flitting fairies, sweeter than honey,
Grumpy goblins, grumbling all the time,
Oh how I wish the world would stay this way,
But soon I am brought out of it by a thump on my door,
Time for school honey!

This reminds me of how I would love to live in the bliss of a forest...no need to come back to civilisation. Captivatingly pennedÂ
