Forest Walk

I’m walking in the forest, all alone.
I have only trees around me.
The silence is making me shy.
Listening to the music of the wind.
Forest, you are my happy place.
You make me free of all around me.
You lift me up, all the way to the moon.
The overwhelming feeling of peace makes me leave this planet.
I feel like I’m floating.
The weight of the earth dropped off my shoulders.
I’m leaving it behind.
It is just you and I.       
Here you are.
Forest. Gorgeous forest.
With your pretty birds and your soft grass.
Air with beautiful scent enters my lungs.
Forest, let me enter your core.
Because that’s where you’re prettiest.
There’s nobody there.
Just us.
The clouds above my head.
They make it rain.
Soft wind blowing through my hair.
It’s like wings that bring me peace.
Nothing stands in the way
Of me walking my path.
It’s ok to be with you.
All alone.
You let me feel that.
And I love it.
