I wouldn't have gave forever away not for a face that's new
In ancient codes the spirit longs, and I'm conjoined to you,
In some form of light had said That when we meet we'll know
Yet someone come along, to you, And you, you had to go,
What was within her eyes but view, a colour not compared to mine,
I felt as if we were of heaven, a sort of love divine
Were her lips of kindred, pressed lightly as she spoke of song,
for all the words I'd written truly , your partings felt so wrong,
Had I outstretched the boundaries of a place you comfortably knew to well
And pushed the days uncertainty in to the grips of hell,
For all the flames that burn upon, the lively smiles and warm embrace,
had left in while that holy space, where nothing held your place ,
Echoes of a vacancy where eyes had greeted that ancient call,
in all the ways I'd loved you dearly , is forever , not at all.

Who wants to be " Alive " for all of time ? " Who wants to live, FOREVER ? " The thought of existing " trillions " of years hence, frightens. UNLESS, YOU HAVE A SOULMATE. Of, course. In whose arms you can escape reality...of still having eternity to go. On, a " journey " without an end.
