Poem -
" FOREVER WAR.."

As the blood rolls red
Through my anticipation
I can feel the strength
Of will and contemplation
Fighting for the dangling threads
Of my Forever War
Where those threads are woven
Into the fear of forevermore...
Such occasions are aids
In keeping us humbly aware
And shield us from the incessant
Rumblings of pride's affairs
I kneel next to my bed
And beg for a quiet miracle
My logic then cry's tears
Of the crystalline and the pivotal....
The realization that there awaits
No angelic intervention
And the road ahead is dark
And littered with apprehension....

Unfortunately wars have always accompanied the humanity, and more than a miracle to be able to eradicate them from our horizon is needed the will and the union of all peoples. Fear makes us human, and while we cry without consolation it's reassuring is the soul, the way of a disease is tragic, dark and always gets better if we are accompanied. A poem realistic and sad, but at the same time hopeful. A greeting.
