Poem -

Forever Young

Forever Young

For the rest of my living days I shall stay forever young and carefree, I realise this may be a challenge as each birthday beckons me.. yet in my heart and in my head youthfulness is still there..as I write about my mystical, magical self aware

I refuse to grow older than the day I was a child.. I will follow every rainbow and frolic feeling wild..there’s not a bone in my body that shall creak and groan as I try my best to stay positive and rejoice not moan..take me to Fairyland in my chimera on my pillow.. I shall fly with my wonderful wings amongst the weeping willow

Beyond the blue ocean we will swim in the briney sea..the mermaids, merman and a fish-tailed me.. ducking and diving having so much fun, searching for sea shells in the warmth of the sun.. each and every full moon I will zoom up and fly in my sparkling space ship that will illuminate the sky.. so look for a kaleidoscope of colours on the next orb of night.. it will be me betwixt the stars in my spacecraft so bright

I am with you all the way, Jill!  I refuse to get old and will remain young at heart (even as I get more wrinkled and grey..lol) and cling to those things that spawn imagination and creativity.  There is freedom in clinging to those things that bring us joy.  Fly off into that sky and stay forever young!  ;)  Love n Hugs
