ForeverYours

Forever Yours
If I were the master of my mind, nary a thought would be of you. My time well spent in silent slumber, and dreams of maidens there to pursue.
But I am not the master, for it is you that holds the key. My every thought fixated on you, and not a word mentioned about me.
For even now as I yearn for your smile, even now as I long for your touch. I find the embers there not glowing, and the pain in my heart just not quite as much.
But I still find, I call your name, and my hopes that you would do the same. When last we parted, with tears not as droplets, but more like rain.
There will come a time again when our arms will entangle, a time again when our hearts will meet. If not today, then in the forever after, our meeting still to be just as sweet.
