Forget And Forgive

Hate to hear you say, to me,
Wish I could take away, your pain,
Just can't wipe the memory clean,
Heads in the clouds tear pouring rain.
Please don't set,
Nothing in stone just yet,
With this we can live,
It's not a fib,
In time you'll forget,
If you can find a way to forgive.
One ground crumbling lie, I told,
Brought us crashing from the sky, you hold,
All the cards against this shameful boy,
He hopes you'll pull the chord letting our chute deploy.
If I could place a bet,
Double or nothing getting out of your debt,
Tell me your over it,
Accept my bid,
I'll prove to you why you should forget,
Loves a second chance if you forgive.

Thank you C. I actually wrote a poem a long time ago(high school days) that had this same title i don't remember how it went but that saying came back recently and i thought why not remake it. I am a heavy believer in forgiveness and sometimes it depends on what forgiveness is needed for making it harder to give but then again I believe God stays out of it when we can't even come to forgive ourselves. Appreciate all the support lately it means so much to me and i will take that challenge of a spiritual write.
Without forgiveness love couldn't exist. Good job.
Thank you Kimmy and how right you are, it is definitely for the strong and resilient.
