Poem -

forgotten

Another mantle of darkness falls
drenching the springtime
with noctural fragrances.
Flooding my heart
with soft memories.
Blossoms fall
like moonlit smowflakes.
On such moments
grief cannot be contained.
Does my reflection
ever come to you?
In pools of raindrops or tears.

or have i gone
leaving
only the reflecting moon.
no songbirds
empty places
drowning in need
craving love
always craving.
forever lost.
