Forgotten flowers - yesterday
No penalty does a flower glow
Once cut from the core of life
No roots to grow
Only to bloom in absolute sight
Essence of beauty's perfume
Slowly watch it fade
Escaped in death as right
Fragile wilting stemmed
One cut beauty
Condemned
No life lingering long
Short lived the time of elegance
Once lost the fight to stay
Broken flowers thrown away
A new cut upon display
Forgotten flowers
Yesterday.
