Free the world

It is profound  that a life can mean so little
Broken wings and no one spares a trickle
Not a tear or a sigh
No hope for these people
Why?

It is innate that we fight for ourselves
But what breaks us apart
Is our hearts and our minds
It is humane  to be insatiably  kind

Rewind the clocks and we are apes
We escaped this to push  to be great

But what is great 
When we can't see
The people before us
Those we can free

Free from this torture 
And free from this pain
If we don't help these people
We’re all to blame
