FREE THESE INDOOR CHAINS

Can't wait to free these indoor chains
Had enough of these social distance pains
Want to do normal things that I do everyday
Don't want this virus to get in the way

My life before the virus was ordinarily plain
I would go to work and then home again
Would go shopping if my fridge was bare
Had no worries and without any care

When the virus arrived my life did change
Working from home is certainly strange
Out the house for an hour and no more
Going shopping is harder that's for sure

The prime minister says we're over the peak
Will the restrictions be lifted next week?
I have followed the rules and all the advice
How I wish for my normal life at any price
