Fresh Lavender.

I felt the temperature decrease
My heart beat increase

The air became thick
Almost like smog

But clean
Fresh flowers within it's scent

I knew it was you

Lavender followed me
around for days

You didn't come to me
Within a dream

You knew i wanted to see you
But i couldn't

I still knew it was you

The warmth within my heart
Amplified in your presence

It was like you had never left
You were here

Lavender lingers still
within my mind

I wonder about that day
How proud of me you were

If you huged me before you left
We never say goodbye

I know I'll see you again
Within the garden in the sky

When it's my turn
to visit you
smelling Fresh Lavender
by your side .

Dear Poetess Nardine Sanderson,

Good write, thanks for sharing, my applause, my love, my vote

The warmth within my heart

Amplified in your presence

It was like you had never left

You were here

Lavender lingers still

within my mind

I wonder about that day

How proud of me you were

If you huged me before you left

We never say goodbye

Regards & Love
