Fresh Start

To be without you is more than I can bear

Do I have to tell you how much I care ?

You and I shared so much together

Thinking the bond we had would last forever

But somehow we ended up drifting apart 

Until one day we both needed a fresh start

Now, having had time to reflect on it all

I do wish so much you'd accept my call

Then we could start our lives together again

Forgetting what has happened, and all the pain

Is this the imagination of a delusional man ?

Or, is getting back together a realistic plan ?
