Friends for sale whats your price
Well it depends if your naughty or nice
Fake friends start low, the price is cheap
Good friends are rare so thats kinda steep
But there are some that would go for free
For they are of no use, atleast not to me
Friends for sale, all you can get
Buy them single or in a set
I cant give you the close ones i love em too much
Take all the back stabbers, liars and such
Then there are the friends i wouldn't miss
They'll be at the top of the list
Friends for sale they are yours to keep
The ones that will kill you in your sleep
Now my sale is at an end
I'll secretly throw away the ones you tell your secrets, the ones that pretend
Friends for sale, what a success
Now am a billion fake friend less
True friends will like this, fake friends would not
Cuz they know they would be in the lot

A very humorous insight into the rarity of a true friend. As you so astutely cover in your lovely poem, there is such a wide gauntlet when it comes to classifying them. Of course, we all know the lowest breed, "a friend in need, is a friend, indeed". Then there are the fair weather friends, etc., etc. I hope your sale was a tremendous success, and you're left only with those two or three precious ones that were marked "NFS". A very nice write. You might have noticed that I am the Ambassador for June, and have selected two topics for this month; LOVE, and Save Our Environment. I would love to read something you've written with those topics.
