Poem -

Frigid, resolute

shaken minds will govern honest hearts

and here it starts

the spiral toward the stupor of our time

climb the endless ladder of your social hierarchy

mediocrity incarnate, i find you redundant

abundant are your masks over your lack.

i waste myself in blindness

expenditure in kindness

while i still dowse myself with gasoline

pointless, yet so ardent is this flame

a raging scorching pyre

convenient, subservient

to your every

passing

whim.

i am but a spectre

and i am all that you could never know.
