Frozen Love

Frozen Love

Frozen Love
Where did you go for I have lost track of you.
Oblivious of the cold, I waited patiently for you.
But you slipped by.
In ignorance I still waited until winter fell.
Yet you did not come.
I'm lost without you and can barely breathe for time seemed to forever sieze.
Even the barren bench froze memories in its desolation.
And the roses lost their fragrance as ice covered their once soft petals.
Symbolic of my now cold heart.
Which once melted at your very presence.
Many laughs we shared and tears we shed as our love blossomed on this bench.
Only to discover on that fateful day that you was no more,
But Summer came and the ice melted only to invite young lovers once again.
As I see your silhouette in a love frozen in time, when you was once mine....
