Poem -

Frozen water still remains.

Frozen water still remains
_______

Cold could not hold time frozen Long enough to reach

I stood at the depths of his soul down by the carnival , along that lonely beach

Where we spent the night hours burning before the dawn

The playing cards were hearts, and our Love became forlorn

How can it burn like a fresh pearled scar, a star in the night that always shines

I openly asked the moon for its seclusion, to whisper quietly my love for him,

delusions that you're coming home , plague the dream's we shared

And I'm fearing that I lost you, because you're running scared

So I know the darkness
I feel the burning lights

And look towards the heavens, my heart, and soul as sight

And I know you don't mind me saying that, forevermore is true

And you know how much I love you, after all that we've been through

That time it still remembers, that night in this old town

When angels gathered closer, and death it took you down

With wings the love it carried you, high above the ground

And so I stand upon the shore where frozen water still remains

And still I thee evermore
Like poets praise the rains.
