Fruit life

life is an orange,

you must take off the peel

to taste the sweet inside

and enjoy your meal

life is a cherry

in a cherry tree

although it has a bitter pit

it still tastes good to me

life is an apple

it can be green or red

it looks so pretty on the tree

but turns rotten in a shed

life is a banana

it can bruise so easily

the safest place to keep it

is in a banana tree

this is fruit in a salad

that you cut up with a knife

although it’s very figurative

I guess that’s just fruit life
