Poem -

Fully Aware.

It's hard to grow up
To face fears
To alter your horizons
To flourish, to rise.

I'm looking for a start button
To press with iron fist hands
I want to correct the agenda
And pierce the veil of trust.

You see
I'm a crusader
A man of my word
I might feel half alive
But I'm fully aware
Of life.

The direction I chose
Wasn't the best one
I need to choose a pathway
Of justice and honour.

My heart has been jolted a few times
Like an electrical current hitting the rain
I want to move on
And I want to grow old gracefully.
