Futile Pursuit

Two men fight to the death over a beautiful woman

Two nations shed blood for possession of God just the same

But that which has such value cannot be possessed

And both princess and the Divine dwell with peace

Deep and effective!

Favorite line:

But that which has such value cannot be possessed

This sentence stood out to me because there are things in life that has no price tag, like witnessing the birth of a child, being a mother and having a child, dancing with a loved one who has only days left to live, seeing an old friend after twenty years and realizing, the friendship was always there. Moments that cannot be measured by money are the very possessions we hold most dear. Just my take on the poem, great job!
