Poem -

GAMES

And even though he lay prone before them
They could not find him
And when they shone a light into all his shadowed places
They found only darkness
And as they lifted him from his chosen place
They felt the heaviness of him
The heaviness of his heart
And they were deeply, deeply sorry
It was only a game.
