Poem -

GARDENS

I have fetched the child
Behold him
I have fetched the child
With pride
I am full of child
The years pass
I have raised the child
At last

Have fetched the child
To leave me
To raise a child his own
But feel no wretched suffering
For mother I am known

I fetch the child for buriel
This being I have birthed
God has gone dismissed me
Killed my very own

I fetch the child to gardens
And lay his very bones
No longer am I Mother
Just woman all alone
