I could rehearse, if only I dared
Convey the brushstrokes of nature's paint
With Dali's intent a canvas quite rare
A schizophrenic, artistic complaint
Of brightest day, morosely conveyed

Inside of myself, with raging mind
This happiness so sad is set apart
A phantom loss, the snake reminds
But my pen can't recall, words from the heart
Of brightest day, locked away in the dark
------------------------------------------------
I could rehearse, if I could only remember
To match the candle with the colorful sun
But my mind's medication distorts the clever
Where my master insists, the bell be rung
And sudden inspiration manifests as a song
A song that mysteriously, has already been sung...
