~ GENIUS DIVIDED ~
I could rehearse, if I only dared
To convey the brushstrokes of nature's paint
With Dali's intent, a canvas most rare
A schizophrenic, artistic, symphonic complaint
One of brightest day, morosely conveyed
Inside of myself, with raging mind
A happiness so sad and set apart
A phantom loss, the snakes rewind
So my pen can't recall, words from the heart
Those of brightest day, locked away in the dark
I could rehearse, If I could but only remember
To match the candle with the colorful sun
But my mind's medication distorts the clever
Where my master insists, the bell be rung
And sudden inspiration, manifests as song
A song which mysteriously, has already been sung

Hi Tony,
I hope you're keeping well. I can feel the struggle in this piece but it is so well written. Great flow and rhythm, definitely one of my favourites.
