Get Well Soon My Friend

Get well soon, rest and recover,

Gather your strength, still lots left to discover,

Close your eyes and heal while you sleep,

Lots of dates waiting for you to keep.

Its time again for you to get up and go,

I still have plenty left to show,

Many more adventures for us to take,

And even more mistakes in life for us to make.

Pull yourself together and summon your strength,

Take that extra step and go the extra length,

Remember tomorrow is always another day,

When your back to healthy in this bed you will no longer stay.

So close them eyes and drift into a happy dream,

Return back and all this a bad dream it will seem,

I will welcome back the happy you,

And say goodbye to that sad face when you are blue,

I know you will beat this because you are strong,

So I will see you fighting fit before too long!
