GET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT

You complain about the length of the Starbucks queue
If you want your coffee that's something you have to do
Be thankful for your hearing and your sight
Get your priorities right

You complain that the bus is taking ages to arrive
That is what is required if you haven't a car to drive
Be thankful that you have a bed for the night
Get your priorities right

You complain about the state of the youth today
A statement of expression is all I will say
Be thankful you are not a soldier that has to fight
Get your priorities right
