GETTING THERE OR NOT

"I will make sure I get there" said the determined snail 
Such a responsibility he didn't want to fail  
He would take his time to where he was heading 
Making sure he would not end up with his body spreading 

"I will get there in double quick time" the cheetah said 
The fastest animal alive leaves all the animals for dead  
No one he thought would catch him beast or man 
 If he doesn't get there nobody can 
 
"I will make sure you both don't arrive" the hunter replied 
That's the reason why the snail and cheetah both perished and died
