She was an old New York fruit fly

hanging on a lamps edge and absorbing the light

never loving her kids enough.

Into the ground she will be undisturbed

for her memory is firmly implanted

and crazed by this corrupted varnish.

Embellished by her madness

cruelties are mirrors of itself, as evil

will eventually destroy itself

and all mothers who become intolerant

will fail to distribute themselves

through the mercy and love of their children.

Wisdom forecasts these occurrences.

Frightening but truthful

her appearance is a nightmarish voice

scattering bits and pieces

that cannot possibly combine themselves

so that love can be seen.

To the 'mommy dearest' whose advocacy

is legendary and self centered, shall cough blood

as a ghoul transforms into air.
