Giving Shelter
From out of nowhere the feelings came
So, I will never view anything the same
Feelings that would change me forever
Ties with a broken past I'd finally sever
You, responsible for instilling hope in me
I would learn from you what life could be
My world has become what I wished for
The path in front of me offers so much more
You were the one to show me all that is better
You were the one to take me in and give shelter.
