Glasgow

Glasgow

For all the downtrodden 
The bagpipes can bring you 
To the mountains near Glasgow
As the rivers of Clyde run 
To the shipbuilders and mariners 
Of time and country 
Great artists record thee 
John Knox our son - 
From the Lowlands and Highland 
They came one by one 
Here's the bird that never flew
Here's the tree that never grew
Here's the bell that never rang
Here's the fish that never swam
O Glasgow 
 O Glasgow
     Time and pride of man
