~ GLEANING TRUTH ~

~ GLEANING TRUTH ~

It is I, with my source-less laments
Codifying, with ambiguous intent
Attempting to reach beauty, in uncommon ground
With a muddled mind, wrecked, and earthbound

Why can I not touch, the varied face, of God
Bring its light perspective, without running roughshod
Tear away stage curtains, go straight to play's end
Dance gloriously to sounds of love, as yet, unsent

Yes, it is I, surfing waves, of fortune's fragrance
Without olfactory make up, or even common sense
Can I glean any truth, without time passing
Perhaps a portal from God, that shines, laughing

Like wire, and light-filled automatons
We see beauty, but miss the phenomenon
I've searched my heart, to find my forgotten intents
But, so it is said,
The sun rises, the sun sets, and yet,
Everyone forgets...

The fish of the sea

Magical wordplay here. It resembles a dancing flame to me, seems elegant and magical but somehow dangerous. Oh I enjoy your work Tony, and sure did l like this work. Smiles always. FISH

Cool Comment FISH!!......yes, it does dance around a bit.....but doesn't really offer up any danger...unless, of course, you have something to hide from yourself.....which can be dangerous for your mental health. (smiles),,,somehow I don't think that's you though........thanx so much for taking time with this one man......I appreciate it!!.....Peace n Stuff!!.....T xo  : )

Tony... Tony... Tony! Wow, you have articulated the desire of every candidate for High Priest, and of every Archana Shaman... something I once thought to be ineffible!!! Pure Magic... and I sculled it down to the dregs my friend.

I don't pin often but this one is certainly a keeper.

SHALOM 🙏🏼
