As I clinch my fist, 
"I'll blow the dust off my Bass, 
So send me your song list."

Trisha has her high heeled shoes, 
Kathy has new "Bling," 
They really don't need it, 
'Cause Lord these Girls can sing!

Brian has his Marshall speaker, 
With a P.V. Head, 
Mark looks like a resurrected, 
Fan of "Grateful Dead"

I show up with Beer in hand, 
Like a Damn disgrace, 
"The Black Sheep of the Family" 
Thumping on my Bass.

Wednesday evening outside gig, 
Our eyes are on the sky, 
The Drummer sets up early, 
Right after work we fly,

We pull into the parking lot, 
In a vertical downpour, 
Mark's drums can hold ten gallons, 
But not a Damn drop more!

Here we are, all on time, 
As they postpone  the show...   
Standing here all dressed up, 
With nowhere to go.
