GLORIFYING TRANSFORMATION

Peace is somewhere atop the mountain,
Near the first of all people,
Spelunking troglodytes harvesting fire and ink's most early forms,Β
source of the first books, and art galleries,
An epilogue of Epicurean epicenters of epicrisis,
embarking on kind kingdom made of paint and sweat,
the tome written on the memory of the cave's throat,
tattoo'd remnants of hunts, grafting the image,
even today, the image in cinema is "captured",
the picture is a photo "shoot",
Reality once reproduced is either dead or preserved,
but always wounded somehow,
history written on a Bird's wings,
the bats coloistered in the cold, upside down,
dreaming of clouds,
but the cave knows the secrets you see,
hidden in Myths,
the ones we observe and are revealed to us,
the ones that eliminate the questions we may have,
the one's raspy gravellous ground speaks to,
The cave speaks through the wind, it absorbs the howl of the wind,
it is at once one with the wind, and the emptiness,
it reminds us of an exploration that speaks to the advent of possibility.
The cave is a living thing, the cusp of recognition and reproduction,
the reminder of nature to culminate the observation of nature provisionally,
The cave is the womb of life,
Like the tree it branches within,
The hills are alive with the sound's and sights of music,
The night drum keeps the predators away,
the fire speaks light,
emanating from Science and Necessity
The caves are the mountains eyes and ears,
the hills are alive indeed...
Remember remember the 11th of November,
Reason is the echochamber of the heart,
the cave is the memroy of reason,
the purpose of protection,
the cave is life,
in the womb of change,
Glorifying transformation.

Beautiful write Rockwell
Thanks very much Lisa...when did you become a VIP? Congratulations on that! I will dedicate it to Leonard Cohen who died today, and will write him a poem.Β I just wrote a nice piece dedicated to Gordon Downie of the Tragically Hip...one of my favourite poets of all time.
