Remember that God is love

who is so gentle like a dove

when it comes to making a move.

He sticks closer than a brother,

a very loving and forgiving father

and is far better than any mother.

He is the greatest friend to all

that always answers when we call

and picks us up when we fall.

He is an outstanding treasure,

worshiping him is always a pleasure

and his worth can never be measured.

He is the Lilly of the valley,

more beautiful than an art gallery

and in him is no folly.

He is the bright and morning star

to remove every heart scar

and not to be there to scare.

He is the holy of hollies

who never speaks any lies

but always gives prayer replies.

He is strong and bold

who takes us to shape and mould

and heals us from a heavy cold.

He is pure and righteous,

fighting battles to show he is courageous

and will be forever marvelous.
