In everything she does
There's a subtle hint of naivete'
The kind of lovely openness, born
Of the God in each break of day
Like the sun, peeking
Just above the morning's horizon
She warms each person
With her gentle sway,
It's as though the morning flower
That reaches for the Sun
Shines, through her kindness
And caresses everyone
Everyone, fortunate enough
To recognize that God
Has something to say
With each breaking of day
And, that somehow
She's the divine filter
Passing, pristine perfection
Through her naivete'
And giving it to us all
As God's sunlight
Beaming from her eyes
And, from her smile
With each new morning
And the glory to be found in her joy
And in her recognition
Of the magic to be found
In each new
Breaking
Of day....
