God of Life

God of Life

~~My sunset glows
In magenta hues.
Beyond the horizon
my darkness tumbles.
Closing as velvet curtains.

In the air my breezes
carry the wavelets
on the shimmering lake.
Speaking in the language
That only souls understand

The resting pines
await the night.
To dream of my sunlight
A flock of my birds
Silhouette in the sky
their cries of love
for my bounty.
that falls from the heavens.

A bright full moon
Sends silvered light.
As even the most wild
of my creatures.
Sit in peaceful tranquility

Tonight a nocturne
to remember
plays softly in souls
of all living things.
